This man is Blazing! A true heart for God in his words, to Love the least of us indeed. I resonate with many of his basic feelings. He’s an academic, so they talk a lot, but it’s worth considering his words, I kid 😉
A Tao master by my estimation. He has helped me a great deal and I will be eternally grateful.
‘Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money’. ~Old Proverb
― Carlos Castaneda
The real mind is imperturbable
It’s like the sky…Do the birds stain the blue?
To be ‘clear minded’ in Zen is not to have ‘no thoughts’ but to have
clarity so the mind isn’t sticky…

“We Fremen have a saying – God created the Earth to train the Faithfull. One cannot go against the Word of God.” – Muad’Dib
Holy Warriors, Ancient Jedi
Do you hear the songs of the Universe
Awaken from your Long Slumber
Learn The Weirding Way
A sweet taste rises in your mouth
We are laughing Joyful fools
We are WEIRD
We have The Truth for you, My Beloved
You are Spirit, not these molecular organic robots, Wake Up
Be as water
All you need is within
Move without thought
Go into battle with a Holy song on your heart
Love the one to your left and right
Write my Words on your Hearts
Ayesa! Ayesa! Aeysa!
Stand on Oussal, the Base of the Pillar
We will fight and we will die, but shall have life everlasting
But you will be lifted up on High
Your faces shine brighter than a thousand Suns
Your faith will be your breastplate
Become the Hand of God, God’s Truth
Take up the Sword of the Spirit
Burn the evil from every part of the Earth
Bring All Into the Light
This is Justice, All Men Are Free
The flow of Melange must be stopped
I call you from All Lands and Peoples, My Beloved
Then to rest in eternal bliss in the arms of a restored Mother Earth
All of Creation Will Sing
Note: I really enjoyed playing with Dune today. I love Dune. A wonderful sci-fi series. The Sleepers must Awaken! Not the lightest subject matter, the Apocalypse, but at least if you really read Dune, you have one possible way to make a difference, but it’s just a poem, right? Next up…Arthur C. Clark and Childhood’s End, oh my! Have a nice day 😉
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirita of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
God’s Love and Ours
I do believe in some creator more wondrous than any limited version a Human can conjure. Until we realize we are all part of the same family, we will fail. That time hopefully will come soon. I would ask you to consider these words for truly God is Love and if you don’t have Love in your heart you can not step on the path.
If anyone has any particular musical interests in line with the theme of this site, experimenting with the mind, body and soul in search of the Divine, please send me some links in comments.
I REALLY LOVE THIS COLLECTION BELOW. I am learning for me, always very musical, using the foreign mantras is super effective, nothing is distracting.
I am in love with these beautiful powerful meditative songs. I am new to Sufi music. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Here are a few of my favorites. Who knew? Give them a listen.
I feel these moving up and down my spine tickling my soul. What is this new thing? Her voice, bliss.
I REALLY LOVE THIS COLLECTION BELOW. I have never felt vibrations like this, into me and out the wormhole in my head to where I truly dwell. Enter in, Enter in. These are mysteries only you can plumb. Know Thyself and be True to You.
Hey, I will try anything once. I think this collection is Divine. I am just getting through it. Enjoy.
Let us join together in song and dance in celebration
It is a sweet incense outside of time to all of creation
We are his people, the flock he has shepherded
Lift up your hands and come worship
Let us sing in harmony
Our lives a living sacrifice pleasing to him
These are mysterious things
Come sing and lift your Joy to the heavens with me
We are his people, Allelujah!
“I have no fear, for fear is the little death that kills me over and over. Without fear, I die but once.” – the Bene Gesserit
As on the dunes of Arrakis, our waters dry to a drop
All around signs of hard times a comin
This is a battle for the future, have no doubt
Fear is the mindkiller.
What do you Fear, Death?
Come, deep deep within and Die your Death but once and be reborn
Find the secret chamber with the eye within
Let your Spirit be released
We shall crash across the Universe
Come join me across the dimensions on your local Heighliner today
A Sufi song. I really enjoyed this, beautiful. Thank you.
I enjoy a lot of world music. It’s interesting to hear voices from other cultures, but I come from the good ole USA, and we sell and package our culture. I was always seeking real things, looking beneath. I had to come to the end of knowledge and asking. I was just avoiding going within and really seeing myself.
These words wash over me and I often recite them to myself. I submit them simply as the words that help me find my center. Blessings.
I love this prayer, which wasn’t even written by St Francis, but in his spirit after WWI. I identify most with him, other than Christ. Not that I am like them, but I love the vision they lived. I have recited and enjoyed this since high school. These words are buried deep in me coming alive. I think having it written in modern times makes it more relevant and challenging.
I also include “Be Thou My Vision”. It comes up often for me. I hope they encourage a little, faithless or not.
by an anonymous Norman c. 1915 A.D. Peace Prayer
Lord make me an instrument of your peace Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, Joy.
O Divine Master grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
As to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Be Thou My Vision
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Be Thou my battle shield, sword for the fight;
Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight;
Thou my soul’s shelter, Thou my high tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my treasure Thou art.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O ruler of all.
