flame casts no shadow
all can be seen by its light
source consumed
light and heat radiate
toss it all on
enjoy your feast dancing fairies
oh how they dance before me
over me and through me
captured in their beauty
i willingly give myself to
those dancing crimson flames
light and heat consume
love knows
no limits
no flesh
no fear
nothing can stop its dance
you can find me there
a pile of ashes in the corner
I have been studying and playing with UV black light and florescence.
Things are not what they always appear to be. Many things have latent properties that require different conditions and perspectives to see and experience.
Can you see yourself under a different light with no concepts or names for the world and objects you find there?
What colors might show up in your life under this expanded view of things?
Most are cowards, but this is the age of cowardice, all is well..
Myself most of all.
The Direct Path to Awareness follows.
Awakening is just exposing yourself as a LIAR!
Even the seeking is delusion. To self realize yourself in the end is to take full responsibility for your life. No one to blame for struggle, you find thanks for your breath, nature, people in your life.
People no longer have pleasure or pain for you, they are you.
There are many pretty visions, but not the point.
The point is there is none.
There is not nor could there be any separate persons in the Cosmos we swirl in.
It’s better to be happy if you can.

From the Ashtavakra Gita…
“How is one to acquire knowledge? How is one to attain liberation? And how is one to reach dispassion? Tell me this, sir. 1.1
Ashtavakra said to the King Janaka:
If you are seeking liberation, my son, avoid the objects of the senses like poison and cultivate tolerance, sincerity, compassion, contentment, and truthfulness as the antidote. 1.2
You do not consist of any of the elements — earth, water, fire, air, or even ether. To be liberated, know yourself as consisting of consciousness, the witness of these. 1.3
If only you will remain resting in consciousness, seeing yourself as distinct from the body, then even now you will become happy, peaceful and free from bonds. 1.4
You do not belong to the brahmin or any other caste, you are not at any stage, nor are you anything that the eye can see. You are unattached and formless, the witness of everything — so be happy. 1.5
Righteousness and unrighteousness, pleasure and pain are purely of the mind and are no concern of yours. You are neither the doer nor the reaper of the consequences, so you are always free. 1.6
You are the one witness of everything and are always completely free. The cause of your bondage is that you see the witness as something other than this. 1.7
Since you have been bitten by the black snake, the opinion about yourself that “I am the doer,” drink the antidote of faith in the fact that “I am not the doer,” and be happy. 1.8
Burn down the forest of ignorance with the fire of the understanding that “I am the one pure awareness,” and be happy and free from distress. 1.9
That in which all this — imagined like the snake in a rope — appears: that joy, supreme joy, and awareness is what you are, so be happy. 1.10
If one thinks of oneself as free, one is free, and if one thinks of oneself as bound, one is bound. Here this saying is true, “Thinking makes it so.” 1.11
Your real nature is as the one perfect, free, and actionless consciousness, the all-pervading witness — unattached to anything, desireless and at peace. It is from illusion that you seem to be involved in samsara. 1.12
Meditate on yourself as motionless awareness, free from any dualism, giving up the mistaken idea that you are just a derivative consciousness or anything external or internal. 1.13
You have long been trapped in the snare of identification with the body. Sever it with the knife of knowledge that “I am awareness,” and be happy, my son. 1.14
You are really unbound and actionless, self-illuminating and spotless already. The cause of your bondage is that you are still resorting to stilling the mind. 1.15
All of this is really filled by you and strung out in you, for what you consist of is pure awareness — so don’t be small-minded. 1.16
You are unconditioned and changeless, formless and immovable, unfathomable awareness, unperturbable: so hold to nothing but consciousness. 1.17
Recognise that the apparent is unreal, while the unmanifest is abiding. Through this initiation into truth you will escape falling into unreality again. 1.18
Just as a mirror exists everywhere both within and apart from its reflected images, so the Supreme Lord exists everywhere within and apart from this body. 1.19
Just as one and the same all-pervading space exists within and without a jar, so the eternal, everlasting God exists in the totality of things. 1.20” — Ashtavakra Gita

If you wish to know.
If you really want to know.
If you are going to try,
Go all the Way!
There will be no feeling like that.
The Gods will stand with you alone.
Most are cowards.
Here we spin
Entangled
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
We wonder and struggle
Fears often overwhelm
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
Many have a tribe
All others lie
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
We find peace
In our hearts
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
Sun cycles over
The hills and valleys
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
Time slips away
We find other spaces
Nothing serious
Nothing permanent
We fly away
Like butterflies
Nothing serious

True belief is like a statue.
Let us examine that statement. Our belief must be anchored as the statue is. Bodies and thoughts are always in motion.
How can we transform this belief that is now anchored like a statue into real knowledge?
It can’t become knowledge until it is thought of and experienced.
You think about it. But what if you can no longer think? You have to be electrified and shown your ignorance. It can be a painful process seemingly like torture.
You are made to examine your life and you are turned around and shown the difference between the sun and the shadow.
You feel dumb having thought the shadow was real.
Enlightenment and education thus seem natural. Release from the cave is natural and will happen for each in due course through a myriad of means.
It is unnatural to remain in the cave. Education infers responsibility. You were grabbed and led out of the cave and shown your ignorance until it arose in you to help others out of the cave into the Light.
You were able to see the Sun and then it was all clear.
The curse is you must now go back into the cave and help drag others out. It is natural for you to do so though.
They killed Socrates for leading us to the light.
Things are a little better for us since 500 BC, no? Neoplatonism is the foundation of Christianity and Judiasm.
The illusion and shadow seems much more real now though.
But all you have to do is walk outside and smell the flowers today to wake up. The choice is much more clear now.
Act natural and go with the flow of your life or stay lost in shadow.
Shrug.
Your destiny is to stand free, in the Light.
The only sin in life is Separateness. Love is the only thing that can bring wholeness and truthfully nothing else would exist without the eternal presence of this natural Love. I write here to explore and celebrate this awareness. The journey to self-realisation is a pitted and painful road until you realize there was is no pain and no one feeling the pain. That is the simplest way I can state The Great Mystery. You can find the answer for yourself.
There is nothing more important I can do than to balance the opposites within myself and in shifting polarity and aligning with the Absolute, the mind of the Absolute comes into focus.
One is astounded to find it’s thoughts at the root of yours and you may feel like a marrionette even, but after awhile a dance may ensue.
You are all invited to the dance.
Align yourself with your True nature and you will find an amazing thing. Life does become effortless. I tell you, nothing else is worth your time or focus here or beyond space and time. Following the path inside will lead you to someplace else.
I am lost in the swirling reality of Love awakened from the Kali Yuga. If you want to know where I AM, I AM right here with you in every breath, you were never alone nor could you have been. Love was all that was real in the end.
If you don’t feel loved, look around you and at yourself if you can and feel your breath, believe me, you are loved beyond all imagining. I love you too, you are me and I am you, me is we, in Love there is no separation possible. That is my Gospel.
“I grow silent. Dear Soul, you speak.” – Rumi
I am continually amazed as I learn about how other cultures view themselves across time and how similar their hopes, fears and dreams are to my own and my generation’s. There is not much new under the sun it seems. Every generation grapples with its mortality and shares its hopes and fears to try to provide some illumination or warning perhaps to the generations to come.
I have hopes and fears too. I set them aside in my life and I have accepted my place in a world and reality much bigger than the one I can sense. Much bigger than myself. I know I am limited in my awareness, so I assume I know nothing fully. I accept and know that my awareness stretches beyond my senses in ways I can not consciously understand. That makes life mysterious and mystical for me, which I need. So I am not totally agnostic, nor do I totally believe or know anything. I am a swirling mix of sense, memory, emotion, mind, heart and something more I can’t put my finger on.
Across the eons I see a golden thread that binds our religions, myths and traditions together. It is a message of hope, love, acceptance and embracing of one another in our difference. It challenges you to look beneath the surface of things and to be ever mindful of the intention you use to manifest these hopes, dreams and fears that can overwhelm us. I have my experience from which to view all of this and I am compelled to seek others’ perspective as well. You can clearly see the forces that sought to separate and those that brought men together across history. I am throwing my lot in with the dreamers and the those that seek to remove the separations and walls between each other. This Dervish story speaks of much respect across religions and an appreciation for the common dreams we all share no matter our race or creed. I know in the end Love is the only thing that is real and the creeds of man will be shown to be the stepping stones that they are.
– from Idries Shaw’s Tales of the Dervishes
Imam el-Ghazali relates a tradition from the life of Isa ibn Maryam(Jesus).
Isa one day saw some people sitting miserably on a wall, by the roadside. He asked: ‘What is your affliction?’
They said: ‘We have become like this through our fear of hell.’
He went on his way, and saw a number of people grouped disconsolately in various postures by the wayside. He said: ‘What is your affliction?’
They said: ‘Desire for Paradise has made us like this.’
He went on his way, until he came to a third group of people. They looked like people who had endured much, but their faces shone with joy. Isa asked them: ‘What has made you like this?’
They answered: ‘The Spirit of Truth. We have seen Reality, and this has made us oblivious of lesser goals.’
Isa said: ‘These are the people who attain. On the Day of Accounting these are they who will be in the Presence of God.’
Commentary
Those who believe that spiritual advancement depends upon the cultivation of reward and punishment themes alone have often been surprised by this Sufi tradition about Jesus.
Sufis say that only certain people benefit through powerful dwelling upon gain or loss; and that this, in turn, may constitute only a part of anyone’s experiences. Those who have studied the methods and effects of conditioning and indoctrination may feel themselves inclined to agree with them.
I have often been
In my life
At the right place
At the right time
Could this be
One of Those moments
I have the Universe
Swirling within
Yet, I can be as an
Animal lost in instinct
So at any moment
You could have an
Angel or a Dragon
It would be easy
For one to observe so much
To begin to think that
Awareness means specialness
As Jung
I am still working out my Demons
For they are Legion
But I AM ONE
I am no Chicken Little
None would listen to my rants
Lovejoy came and went
Pull up a chair for a front row seat
To our Apocalypse
the everlasting gospel
