Spinning round
The central pole
Where we stop
No one knows
Should we slow
Or should we
Go Go Go
Spinning round
The central pole
Where we stop
No one knows
Should we slow
Or should we
Go Go Go
”Look down at me and you see a fool
Look up at me and you see a god
Look straight at me and you see yourself”
I know so little of Love, but I have awoken from my ignorance in the Heart of Love.
It is not a peaceful lake always. She is also a raging tempest, behold her power, it is terribly awesome!
All that dies in the flames is my ignorance.
Love has stalked me through my life, but I have run and hid from Love.
It wanted one thing and would not let me rest until it had it…my sadness.
My heart has broken open and this is good.
A bird stopped by and sang me Gibran’s song to Love…
“When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him.
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun.
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God’s sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure.
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor.
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips”
Oh to be free of styling
Oh to be free of caring
Oh to be free of trying
Oh to be free of lying
Freedom was found
By the kiss of my love
By the licks of my dogs
By the rude pricks
By desiring the world
By yelling at the top of my lungs
By meeting all my gods and daimons
By getting it all wrong
Here before
The Sun and the Moon
Stripped naked of my appearance
What remains is freedom
Sometimes
When no one is looking
I 😂 at the rolling clouds of love
Sometimes
When no one is looking
I 😭 at the joy of life
Mostly I just don’t know
Why things go the way they go
But I abide it all with a hard won grin
You awaken as a child on the wheel of life, which leads to the world tree and the center of the Labyrinth.
Today, the Earth is reborn and I can see it out my window.
The trees leaf as ice crystals form and lightening cracks in the air.
The Flowers sing in their pots filled with reminding.
The weeds seek to steal the light and water.
And the birds come and go freely, enjoying a drink or a meal.
One can learn the cycles of life if they stop and listen and watch.
We are invited to participate even.
So however you celebrate it, through whatever filter you like, life and it’s promise is renewed today in time, rejoice!

What moves the world
Away from fear and greed
Toward compassion for the other
Only ourselves because…
We know loneliness
We know doubt
We know fear
We know pride
We know anxiety
From here…
We can stop searching
We can find patience
We can take a breath
We can take a step back
We can see the Self in the Other
Compassion is always the best choice
No rants
No raves
The world is stellar
And cool blue
Things ring true
No arguments
No harm wished
No opinions
Things change
Minds roil
No head trips
Drop them
Disperse the cloud
Cling to no-thing
Lose no-thing
Remember

I Love playing the Fool
All this egg on my face
Yolks on me
